EMPLOYMENT

FLY GYDE LLC’s TEAM MEMBER REQUIREMENTS

WE GUIDE GUESTS, NOT CLIENTS

We understand our guests entrust us with their safety, money, and time. We do not take this for granted at any time, even after 20+ consecutive days on the water. We find the want in everything we do, including when our body wants to say quit. We leave the water when our guests are satisfied with the journey, nothing else. Quitting never speaks to us, and we have a lot of fun in the process of loving what we do for “work.” We are the guides that fish on our days off; we love it like that!

WE PROVIDE UP TO DATE, HONEST INFORMATION

We welcome discussions about what our strengths & weaknesses are upon booking to pair the correct guide or location for our guest’s skill level and technique. We know our limits and do not overstep the ACTUAL knowledge we can provide. If there is an answer we do not know, we will search to find it or refer you to someone who does. As quickly as we gain trust from our guests, we understand we can lose it faster by providing incorrect or dishonest information.

WE KNOW OUR FISHERIES

What we advertise is a direct reflection of what our guests can expect from an experience with us. We clearly describe to our guests what is needed to accomplish their day on and off the water. Understanding this can come in many forms, such as face-to-face interactions on the water, phone calls, emails, or social media messages and posts.

WE PROVIDE SAFETY

Many things change on the water daily, but we expect that, enabling us to react appropriately. Variations in our day can come from any situation. Being prepared assists us in doing our best to foresee what can happen from any circumstance.

Are you looking to take a step further into your career as a guide and possess the abovementioned requirements? Please email your resume to business@flygyde.com
